Chartered by New York State in 1977, the Gestalt Center of Long Island is dedicated to providing high quality post-graduate training in Gestalt psychotherapy to counselors, social workers and mental health professionals.

Gestalt psychotherapy is a humanistic, experiential approach to therapy and counseling that is different from other psychotherapy approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychoanalysis.
