Each year, GCLI conducts a 3 Day Intensive Training Retreat for practitioners in the helping professions. A requirement for trainees enrolled in the certificate Training Program, this in-depth experience is also open to interested health professionals who wish to experience Gestalt therapy in a supportive “hands-on” group setting.
The 3 Day Intensive Training is designed to offer a rich format of theoretical discussion, experiential group sessions and supervised practice. The retreat setting offers a unique opportunity to work in depth over an extended period.
This retreat also provides participants, interested in the Gestalt Center of Long Island, and Gestalt therapy, an opportunity to learn about our Certificate Training Program, meet our professional staff and trainees, and to discuss the extraordinary truth of Gestalt theory and practice.

Mariandale overlooks the Henry Hudson River, and provides a warm, supportive environment for this intensive, dynamic and often transformational professional and personal learning experience.
Participants should plan to arrive by 9:30am, Friday, for Registration. The program begins at 10:00am. We plan to conclude Sunday, at 5:00pm.
